Mid and late August fishing report with some select photos of the catch: Lots of yellowtail in the 20-30’s range, some boats with limits. Full moon didn’t affect the bite….so there! Calicos all over with some excursions to other secret spot reporting awesome catch and release. No kelp on the surface yet, but fish is in the regular locations we know. Best bite with live bait and some XRap mackarel, and few reporting good jig bite. This month very few dorados and YFT, but with water temps as high as they are now, this could change. Weather, as usual, very pleasant, with cool breeze all day and night keeping us in a comfortable mid 70’s.
