— AFTER FISHING —

Baja Magic Lodge

Your relaxing retreat awaits

We are proud to offer all ocean-front rooms.

The lodge and cabins are located away from the noise of town, but within 300 yards of our private, floating dock. We can drive you to the dock and back for fishing, kayaking or other water excursions.

Located on a cliff overlooking the sea, our private eight-room lodge was built in 2012, with new additions and improvements every year.

Features include:

  • All rooms have glass fronts with sliding doors leading onto the deck and panoramic ocean views.
  • All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, hot water, toilets and sinks.
  • All rooms have either two or three beds (extra long doubles, or queen sized) with high quality mattresses and linens on solid wood platforms.
  • Accessibility options: if you have difficulty climbing stairs please let us know and we will reserve a downstairs room for you.
  • Free WiFi in all rooms.

Our cooks prepare fresh, delicious meals in a fusion of American and local Mexican cuisine. All meals are fully customizable and served “family style” on the dining deck with panoramic ocean views.
Our staff are friendly and the kitchen is at your disposal. If you have any problems or requests during your stay, just ask! We will do our best to accommodate you.
  • BREAKFAST: We offer full hot breakfasts every morning at 5:30 am. Or you can choose lighter fare such as cereal, toast or fruit.
  • LUNCH: We pack lunches to-go for each day on the boat. You’ll have a choice of bean or meat burritos, or a variety of sandwich options, granola bars and fruit. Water and soda is provided on the boats and you can take beer if you choose.
  • DINNER consists of 3-4 courses served family style. Each night’s menu will include:
    • A soup such as vegetable, Mexican corn, fish meatball, cream of broccoli.
    • Side dishes include salad, grilled veggies, potatoes, rice, guacamole etc.
    • Main courses might be: grilled chicken,  tostadas, enchiladas, fish tacos, carne asada, grilled fish.
    • Lobster for dinner on the final night.
    • You may also ask the kitchen to prepare the fish you caught however you want: fried, grilled, even sashimi.
    • Dessert: Every night we serve a homemade dessert such as cake or flan.
  • A trail from the lodge leads to a private, rocky beach just a five-minute walk away. You will find a deck and a natural saltwater pool. You can swim off the rock jetty, launch kayaks, or fish for calico and halibut from there.
  • There is a public beach near the jetty where we keep our boats, also an easy five-minute walk. The beach is sandy, and easy to get in and out of for swimming or snorkeling.
  • There are also many remote, sandy beaches on the west side of the island accessible by truck.
