Our private 8-room lodge was built in 2012, with new additions and improvements every year, since. We are proud to be the only company on the island that offers our clients all ocean front rooms. The lodge is located on a cliff, just beyond the high school that sits on the south edge of town. (GPS 28 05′ 27″ N – 115 11′ 13″ W)
The lodge is available for our fishing clients, & eco-tours. From October-June we can also host private groups and retreats. The lodge is away from the noise of town, but within 300 yards of our private, floating dock. If you choose a fishing or eco tour package, we will drive you there and back for fishing, kayaking or other water excursions. As of 2018, we are adding cabins for additional lodging!
All have glass fronts with sliding doors leading onto the deck and panoramic ocean views. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, hot water, toilet, and sink. Free wifi in all rooms.
The rooms all have either 2 or 3 beds (extra long doubles, or queen sized) with high quality mattresses and linens on solid wood platforms. We have four rooms upstairs and four on the first level. If you have a problem climbing stairs please let us know and we will put you in a downstairs room.
Food and Dining
The kitchen and dining deck also have panoramic ocean views. If you chose a package that includes meals you can expect fresh, delicious meals prepared local style by our cooks.
We bring food (including plenty of fresh produce) from the mainland to supplement the local seafood. The food service is fully customizable. If you don’t like the main course, you can request substitutions or additional food at any time. We we also accommodate specialized diets: gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, diabetic etc., if you let us know your needs ahead of time. Our staff are friendly and the kitchen is at your disposal! If you have any problems or requests during your stay just ask! We will do our best to accommodate you.
There is a trail from the lodge to a private, rocky beach (5-minute walk) with a deck and hot tub (coming soon). You can swim off the rock jetty, launch kayaks or fish for calico and halibut from there. There is a public beach near the jetty where we keep our boats. This is also an easy 5 minute walk. The beach is sandy, and easy to get in and out of to go swimming or snorkeling. There are also many remote, sandy beaches on the west side of the island, accessible by truck.
Weddings, family reunions, corporate events, yoga, mediation, writing retreats, or just a group of friends who want to get away to a beautiful, relaxing spot on a remote island. Contact us for a custom quote.
