The Cedros bite is on fire! Our anglers went out targeting a variety of species and came back with an incredible mixed bag, including halibut, yellowtail, sheephead, and giant seabass encounters.
The fish were responding well to blue mackerel and purple mackerel Rapalas on the troll, while blue/white and mint surface irons were producing solid action both on the surface and on yo-yo drops. For halibut, the live bait dropper loop setup was the ticket.
It’s shaping up to be another exciting stretch of fishing here at Cedros Island, with multiple species in play and plenty of action on the water!
