1. Acceptance of Terms:
- By placing a deposit on any trip, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms and Conditions of Cedros Outdoor Adventures.
2. Deposits and Payments:
- A 50% deposit of the trip cost is required at the time of booking, with $900 of the deposit being non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 60 days of departure result in the loss of $900 of your deposit.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless a written notice of cancellation is received by email 60 days prior to the trip’s departure.
- The balance of your trip is due 60 days prior to departure and is non-refundable after this date but can be transferred to a future trip.
3. Credit Card Charges:
- Your credit card will automatically be charged the remaining balance 60 days before departure, unless alternate arrangements have been made by email or text message (phone calls do not apply).
4. Package Details — Premium Guide Service:
- Round-trip Transfer: Transportation from Tijuana Airport to Cedros Island via the Cross Border Express (CBX). A guide will meet you after entering Mexico via CBX to escort you to your chartered flight.
- Lodging and Meals: Comfortable accommodations at Baja Magic Lodge (double or triple occupancy, depending on availability). All meals are included, featuring full breakfasts, lunches to go, and three-course dinners. Special dietary requests are accommodated with prior notice.
- Fishing: Fishing three per panga on 27-28 ft. super pangas (option for two per panga at $60 surcharge per person/day, subject to availability). Knowledgeable local boat drivers will guide you to the best fishing spots.
- Amenities: Purified water and sodas in the hotel and boats, Seeker rods for use (bring your own reels), fish filleting, vacuum sealing, and freezing for transport, and free Wi-Fi (Starlink) across the lodge.
- Staff Assistance: Friendly staff to help with meals, cleaning, transportation, and fish processing. One of the owners is usually on-site, and we have a bilingual guest services manager to assist you during your stay.
Your Fishing Package Does NOT Include:
- Cross Border Xpress (CBX) ticket: Purchase online or in person at the CBX terminal.
- Mexican Tourist Visa/FMM/I-94: Purchase online or at the CBX terminal.
- Mexican Fishing License: Purchase in advance from local tackle stores or online.
- Alcoholic Beverages: Purchase on the island or bring your own (weight restrictions apply).
- Fishing Gear: Except for Seeker rods, other gear and recommendations will be provided.
- Gratuities: Suggested tips: $40-$80 for lodge/kitchen staff, $40-$80 for dock/transport staff, and $100-$200 for boat captains.
Required Documentation:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date.
- Mexican Fishing License, I-94, and FMM tourist visa.
Additional Charges:
- Single room surcharge: $150 per day (subject to availability).
Change & Cancellation Policies:
- $900 of your deposit is non-refundable and within 60 days of departure, non-transferable.
- Other payments are transferable to a future trip, up to 60 days before departure.
- As a courtesy, if COA has to cancel your trip due to dangerous weather or multi-day port closure on Cedros Island, we will give you the option to rebook your trip for the same season. However, if this does not work out with your schedule and you need to rebook for a future season, you will lose $900 of your deposit and the balance will be applied to a future trip.
- Please note: We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance. Don’t risk your investment. Get insurance.
- Cancellations within 60 days of departure result in forfeiture of $900 of your deposit.
- Balance is refundable up to 60 days before the trip and non-refundable afterward, but may be transferred to a future trip.
5. Travel Insurance:
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Insurance should include coverage for inclement weather, trip delays, or cancellations.

6. Room Assignments:
- Rooms are based on triple occupancy, but we will not assign you a room with someone outside of your group unless you are part of a large charter. Private rooms are available for an additional charge, subject to availability. We only grant one solo room per trip.
7. Exclusions:
- Gratuities, alcohol, rental gear, and terminal tackle are not included in your package.
8. Prohibited Items:
- Illegal drugs, firearms, explosives, and marijuana are strictly prohibited. Marijuana is illegal in Mexico; do not travel with it.
9. Liability and Responsibility:
- Cedros Outdoor Adventures is not affiliated with the airline traveling to the island and is not responsible for schedule changes or cancellations.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
- Passengers and their belongings are subject to search prior to departure.
10. Miscellaneous:
- Terms and conditions are subject to change.
- We reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge.
- By booking a trip, you agree to these terms and conditions.
